This means no processed or enriched foods. No white sugar, white flour. No foods that we can't explain every ingredient in it. (sorry about the double negative there)
After a few days of reading lots of labels we have found a good system. Its amazing how much food has sugar in it, even "healthy" foods. We've been very creative and not depriving ourselves of the recipes we love, just learning to cook and prepare them with whole, organic and healthy food.
Because our bodies were so used to all the sugar they were getting from artificial sweetners to salad dressings to coffee creamers to breads, we went through some SERIOUS sugar cravings in the beginning.
So I hit the internet and found these lovely little balls...
