After we were dressed Emily brought Jerod out into the courtyard and had him stand facing west. She ran back inside to grab me, we walked out the doors, she pointed to where he was standing and probably said something about "let me get in front of you to take pictures" but I don't remember....I just started taking off towards him.
We kissed, we held each so tightly, we talked, and we prayed.
That "first look" was a moment I will always store away in my heart.
Showing him my surprise- my new, cute boots. He loved it.
Lets get these pictures started!
Hannah- "I'm not very flexible for that kind of stuff"
Emily- "See! You're doing it!"
Jerod- "She's shaking"
For all the pictures before we asked the bridesmaids to wear any brown boots. I think the variety came out perfect!
The guys all wore cowboy boots as well. Some had them already, other guys used it as an excuse to buy new ones and some guys waited till the last minute and went to the thrift store. :) Hey, they all have them and look great!
It sets a false expectation for marriage.
Then, every time we snuck a kiss in the grocery store I'd whip around to ready to receive our applause only to be met by the silence of the bread aisle.
Old roommates. Old teammates. Sisters. Brother. Best friends. Hunting buddies. Elementary school friends. Work friends. Life long neighbor. Cute little almost nephews.
These are our favorite people, the people we wanted to surround ourselves with on our wedding day. We have sat down and talked about a memory from our day about each one of the people in the picture below. We felt so incredibly loved and supported because this group of friends and family came together for us.
Like right now I am holding back stories about the bird poop and bribing Easton with starbursts and I really want to show you zoomed in shots of everyones faces in jumping pictures.
But this blog can only hold so much. Literally, I get pop up windows telling me to stop. What can I say, we loved every second of our wedding day! There is still more to come but for now I'll leave you with one last cute picture of our ringbearer Easton and then....
