This also meant facing my fear of staple guns.
You laugh but as a little bit of a klutz I imagine the worst. Staple in the neck.
I took all the precautions while making this headboard including holding it at an arms length most of the project and counting to 3.
Jerod and I went to Home Depot after measuring our queen size mattress. We decided to have it be the exact length(60 inches) and eyeballed about 3 feet tall. The people there cut the plywood for us, we grabbed two scrap pieces of 1x1 sticks and 1.5" screws.
I bought the burlap at Joann's earlier and wisely choose to buy two pieces just in case you could see the batting through one. We ended up using both.
I still don't know how to rotate pictures without freezing the whole screen up so please use this time to stretch your neck. Also, I will try and take more horizontal photos in the future.

Bad- I stole those trauma shears from Regions.
I'm so focused on not impaling my carotid here that I've let my posture go to hunchback.
