Sadly, the lack of flower garland did little to improve the general feel of the kitchen.
Here it is right as we were moving in.
*Side note- those two camp chairs are where we sat and opened all of our wedding presents. Just the two of us with wine and pizza. It was a perfect first memory in our first home*

...one last coat of yellow. Yes, it is true,3 coats wasn't enough you could still see maroon coming through.
And yes it is true, I left the kitchen like that for a month before I could bring myself to do that last coat.
