"Well done good and faithful servant."
With her brand new body and lungs, I hope(and know) she did a little skip on her way in.
Try it, its hard.
She wasn't just a Gram who let you spike her hair into a mowhawk, she was an incredible, godly woman. She spent many a hour making blankets, hats and stuffed bears for other people. She taught piano lessons for over 65 years and even in the last months led singing at the nursing home. Man, she just loved people and was so, so contagiously friendly.
Its quite a loss in my life and my family's lives that she is gone but she is where I want to be. I would never wish for someone to lose time in heaven just so I can have them here.
But I do wish I could bet on peas one more time.
