There was one problem.
The crappy bathroom UPSTAIRS dripped into the crappy master bathroom downstairs. At least it dripped into the tub.
The fan didn't work.
The plumbing was run along the outside wall which is a big no-no here in MN where the pipes freeze.
The shower head was stuck in that position, which was straight into your eyeballs full force.
The paneling was coming off the wall.
The shower curtain only came up to Jerod's armpits.
It was just plain ugly.
Anyway, the house decided for us which would get the big redo first and we were off to Home Depot to special ordered a tub, picked out tile, light fixtures, paint and everything else. Being the naive new homeowners we are, we thought we could tear this thing down to the studs and rebuild it in a week.
Boy were we wrong.
But then it was time to call in the big guns.
Wait, I gotta check my fb feed first.

We also don't own one but that is a small detail.
Lots of water damaged sub-flooring. Looks like we'll need to add that to list of things to replace.
Getting this done in one week was starting to look pretty dismal after just one day of demo.
From this little space alone we had 15 large black bags of garbage. Turns out cleaning up your demo mess is not half as fun as actual demo.
